A Teaching Book
I have been reading the book of Job in my daily bible reading plan. At this point I see how it ties into my current circumstances.

The book of Job is a marvelous book. It is a book to help you understand many things in the spiritual realm, but also to better cement your faith and hope in God.
There have been circumstances around me that causes a prayer of anxiousness and fear to come out from me. I have a sick relative whose life can be in peril and has been hospitalized due to this ailment and recently found out that I have a dear friend who is terminally ill. The text message I received prompted me to stop all I was doing and just allow the news to sink in. The call afterwards really brought reality to the forefront. I was advised to conduct a visit sooner rather than later.
I have been reading the book of Job and am just on chapter 15. However, there are a few things that gets cemented on the reader right away.
1. There is nothing that you have to do or that you may be doing wrong for the storm to come.
2. God controls the devil and places barriers he's unable to cross.
3. Our Faith and Hope needs to be tested.
4. There will be speculations of your storm and accusers. All are folly and deserve no attention.
5. Keep the faith!!!
6. As we all know how Job ends - God is the ultimate decision maker - He can and will get you passed the storm.
That part however looks different to everyone. I am talking about part 6. The success through the storm will most likely not be the outcome you were expecting. Job made it pass the storm, but in the process, he lost it ALL. God redeemed him and multiplied his possession and family after the storm.
This is my reminder to remain steadfast in prayer and allow God to remain in control.
God bless,
